Meet the Clinician

Dr. Fong Yong is the founder, owner, and CEO of Dental House Group, encompassing seven practices, including Dental Couture and Couture Implant Centre. As a highly qualified Australian-trained Dental Surgeon and a member of the Australian Dental Association, Dr. Fong is dedicated to providing thorough, patient-focused care to his patients.

Fong grew up in Malaysia and Singapore before moving to Australia in 1999. He pursued his dental education at The University of Melbourne, known as one of the top dental schools in the country. Since then, he has been proud to serve the communities in the west and north of Melbourne for most of his life. Deeply appreciative of Australia’s vibrant culture and opportunities, he is passionate about giving back to the community that has become his home.

Since graduating with a BDSc in 2005, Dr. Fong has amassed over 20 years of private dental experience. He began focusing on Dental Implants in 2007 and has since completed over 3,000 hours of advanced professional education in implantology, both locally and internationally, ensuring that he stays at the forefront of the latest techniques, technology, and methodologies.

Dr. Fong holds a Master Clinician designation in Implant Dentistry from gIDE, Loma Linda University, and a Master of Oral Implantology from the California Implant Institute in partnership with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). He is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI) and has completed advanced surgical training, including externships and reconstructive surgery with the California Implant Institute. His experience also extends to All-on-4 and All-on-X procedures, with clinical residencies from Malo Education and Dental Implant Masters.

Dr. Fong heads the surgical department at Dental House Group, with a primary focus on dental implants and All-On-4 Plus® procedures, where his leadership ensures the highest standards of care and precision in complex implant cases.

Fong is a premium provider of All-On-4 Plus®, offering the latest techniques in full-arch surgical and restorative dentistry. He is passionate about embracing advanced technology and methods that help both patients and his team of dentists achieve strong clinical outcomes, with patient safety as the primary consideration throughout the process.

Dr. Fong’s experience spans different brands and types of dental implants, allowing him to provide tailored treatment options for his patients. To date, he has placed over 3,000 implants, including more than 500 arches of full-arch or All-on-X implants, with patients travelling from across Australia and internationally, including Asia, Europe, and America, for his experience.

Dr. Fong is also proud to be the second recipient across Australia and New Zealand of the prestigious Straumann Group NeoArch Centre of Excellence award. This recognition highlights his dedication to clinical excellence and advanced implant techniques, reflecting his standing in the field of dental implantology.

What he finds most rewarding about Dental Implant procedures is not only the functional restoration achieved for his patients but, more importantly, restoring their ability to speak and eat comfortably. Dr. Fong is committed to delivering gentle, high-quality dentistry that makes a meaningful difference to his patients’ oral health and quality of life.
