All-On-4 Plus®, Step by Step

Step 1: Digital Planning and Facial Analysis

Your journey begins with a comprehensive clinical assessment. We use 3D CBCT scans, facial photographs, and Digital Smile Design software to understand the relationship between your bone structure, bite, and overall facial balance. This planning process allows us to map your restoration before surgery and ensure precise implant positioning tailored to your anatomy.

Step 2: Surgical Reshaping of Bone and Gums

On the day of surgery, we prepare the implant sites by gently reshaping the jawbone and contouring the gums. This step creates a level and hygienic platform for your new teeth, improving long-term maintenance and reducing the risk of complications. The goal is not only to fit implants, but to create a healthy foundation that supports long-term outcomes.

Step 3: Strategic Implant Placement

Four or more dental implants are placed in carefully selected positions to optimise strength and support. These angles are planned digitally, using your diagnostic records to avoid anatomical structures and ensure the most stable outcome. This step is critical in enabling immediate function and reducing the need for bone grafting in many cases.

Step 4: Immediate Final Teeth™

Instead of waiting months for the final bridge, you will receive your customised Immediate Final Teeth™ within 24 to 48 hours of surgery. These are not placeholders. They are your actual teeth, designed and milled using high-performance materials and shaped to fit your gum contours, bite, and jaw alignment. While your implants heal beneath the surface, your final teeth provide immediate form and function from the outset.

 

Supporting Procedures That May Be Included

Additional Implants

In cases where bone quality is poor or clenching power is excessive, additional implants may be required. These extra implants help distribute functional pressures more evenly and enhance the system’s ability to withstand daily use.

Bone Grafting

Typically used in the upper jaw, bone grafting may be necessary to rebuild bone volume in specific areas. This procedure supports better implant positioning and ensures more bone is available for future needs.

Nerve Transposition

In situations of extreme bone loss in the lower jaw, repositioning of nerve bundles may be required. This allows for improved positioning and spread of lower implants, facilitating immediate fixed replacement of teeth.
